At AssuredPartners Borland, we believe in the power of collaboration and the profound impact it can have on shaping a more inclusive and equitable future.

This collaboration is not just about placing our brand on their jerseys; it symbolises our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within our community.

Girls’ participation in sports has historically been undervalued and underrepresented. Yet, the benefits of sports participation for girls are undeniable, ranging from improved physical health to enhanced self-esteem and leadership skills. By sponsoring Cramond Girls Football Club, we aim to break down barriers and empower young girls to embrace the joy of sports, helping to develop a culture where every individual feels valued and supported regardless of gender.

Our decision to support Cramond Girls Football Club aligns seamlessly with our broader DEI objectives.

We recognise that diversity goes beyond race and ethnicity; it encompasses gender, abilities, socioeconomic backgrounds, and more. By championing initiatives like this partnership, we not only demonstrate our commitment to DEI within our own organisation but also extend that commitment to the communities we serve.

Supporting initiatives that promote girls’ participation in sports is a strategic investment in the future. By providing opportunities for girls to excel in athletics, we are nurturing the next generation of leaders, innovators, and change-makers. Through sports, girls learn invaluable lessons about teamwork, resilience, and perseverance – skills that transcend the field and are essential for success in any endeavor.
